General Rick Hillier (Retired) Joins Provincial Aerospace Advisory Board

Paris, France, June 16, 2009 - While attending the 48th International Paris Air Show, Provincial Aerospace announced that General Rick Hillier (Retired) will join the company's Advisory Board.

General Hillier (Retired) will take on his new role as of July 1, 2009. In his new strategic advisory position, General Hillier (Retired) will provide mentorship and guidance to the Provincial Aerospace team at a senior level. "General Hillier's (Retired) distinguished leadership qualities and global perspective will be invaluable to Provincial Aerospace as we move into the next stages of our growth," says Brian Chafe, Chief Operating Officer at Provincial Aerospace. "His national profile, international respect and impressive network are all key attributes and strengths that he will bring to our team. It is a privilege to welcome General Hillier (Retired) to Provincial Aerospace."

General Hillier's (Retired) military career has spanned over three decades. He retired on July 1, 2008 as Chief of Defence Staff to the Canadian Forces. Prior to this, General Hillier (Retired) served throughout Canada, including leading the Canadian Forces' commitment to the Quebec Ice Storm in 1998. He has also served with the United Nations and NATO forces in the former Yugoslavia and in Afghanistan.

The announcement was made during the second day of the International Paris Air Show in Paris, France. According to Keith Stoodley, Senior Vice President of Business Development and Government Relations, who is attending the exhibition on behalf of Provincial Aerospace, "This exhibition is one of the most prestigious and largest air shows in the world and we are delighted to be able to make this announcement at such a world-class event". Some 150,000 people are expected to visit the exhibition during the seven day show.
